Glenn is trained in providing massage treatments to address:

Back Pain

Back pain is one of the most common complaints associated with posture, the ergonomics of employment, athletics and aging. As a specialist and instructor in advanced massage therapy techniques, Glenn is aware of the therapy most appropriate for your pain. Mobile services are offered for patients who find it too painful to come in to the office. Massage can help to alleviate back pain and help reduce dependency on pain medication. Therapy sessions typically run 45 minutes long and can be arranged to meet your schedule.

Chronic Neck Pain

You may be experiencing daily or infrequent neck pain, typically caused by an accident, poor posture, sleeping habits, or work stresses. Massage therapy sessions will work wonders. Length of treatment will be determined after an initial consultation with Glenn.

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy

Lymphatic Drainage Therapy (LDT) benefits the body by enhancing the ability of the lymphatic system to filter and remove harmful substances from our circulatory system and to remove excess fluid retention from affected areas. LDT helps activate the lymphatic circulation, the immune system and the relaxation response. It is useful in such conditions as odema, swelling of legs, ankles, chronic pain, detoxification, post surgical healing, skin health, etc.

Swedish Massage

This is a gentle form of massage that uses long strokes, kneading, and deep circular movements (sometimes called Relaxation Massage). Available by appointment in 45 minutes to an hour depending on the need, Glenn will recommend a schedule for you.

Spinal Mobilization

Muscle Energy Therapy

This is a treatment to help alleviate pain in the spine and pelvis, typically caused by an accident, poor posture, repetitive motions, or work injury.

It is a gentle, non-invasive manual therapy used to correct spinal and extremity joint problems and to increase their mobility. An assessment is first made to see where there is a dysfunction. Then the joint is positioned at its optimal range and the patient uses gentle, isometric contractions which help to increase range of motion.

Positional Release Therapy

This is a gentle therapy that reduces painful muscle spasm and also enhances proper biomechanics and movement of the spine and joints.

Visceral Manipulation

Visceral manipulation is the use of light, gentle manipulative force to help restore normal visceral health. It can help restore normal physiological function of individual organs, the systems they function within and the overall structural functioning of the whole body. It can help with digestive disorders, bowel dysfunction, adhesions, etc.

Deep Tissue Massage

This massage technique uses slower and deeper strokes, to target the deeper layers of muscle and connective tissue. Ideal for people who work in stressful environments or after a tough workout!

Sports Massage

This is geared towards people involved in sport activities to help prevent or treat sports injuries, where the massage technique can be as gentle as a light Swedish Massage for delayed onset muscle soreness, or deeper for targeting tight and knotted muscles.

Cranial Therapy

Gentle therapy that can help with anxiety, relaxation, or trauma. Contact Glenn if you are interested in learning more.
